Successful school districts recognize that a high level of communication with their public enhances their efforts to obtain parental involvement, support from their communities, and advanced student achievement. The Umatilla-Morrow ESD’s Intermountain Communications (IC) department has the resources, time and expertise to connect schools with their communities.
The purpose of Intermountain Communications is to support school districts and promote their achievements, news and needs to their communities. Our team will serve as a support organization to complete a district’s circle of communication to engage and inform its community and encourage public participation.
The IC team also provides its services to other government and non-profit organizations.
Our Team
Members of the IC team have diverse skills that will enrich school district communication. Intermountain Communications has the only team of public relations and marketing specialists, graphic artists, web developers and videographers in an ESD in the state of Oregon. School districts can expect to receive the same professional, complete and friendly service as they would with a private marketing firm.
By working together and joining these various skill sets, the IC team provides a thorough and efficient means of meeting your district’s specific communication goals.
